The service

CORTEX is a college-wide student community at Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram University. It welcomes students interested in artificial intelligence, software, data and technology from every branch. The website provides public information and online tools for accounts, learning, events, articles, discussions, teams and membership applications.

Your account

Give accurate account information, keep your sign-in details secure and tell the CORTEX team if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. CORTEX may restrict accounts that violate these terms or put the community at risk.

Community conduct

Do not use the site to harass people, impersonate others, post unlawful or harmful material, distribute spam or malware, interfere with the service, or attempt to access accounts or data without authorization. Follow event instructions and respect the privacy of other participants.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give CORTEX permission to store, display and distribute that content as needed to operate the features you use, including showing articles, comments and team information to their intended audiences. You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit the content. You can ask the team to remove content or an account, subject to moderation, safety and record-keeping needs.

Membership and events

Creating an account or submitting an application does not make you a CORTEX Community member. Membership applications open after a session ends, when current third-year members move into fourth year, or when a Community position becomes vacant. Selection includes auditions; administrators communicate the audition arrangements and outcome. Event registration is subject to the event’s availability, capacity and any event-specific instructions.

Content and availability

Learning materials and community posts are provided for general educational and informational use; they are not professional advice. CORTEX may change, suspend or remove site features or content to maintain the service, comply with obligations or protect the community. External sites are operated independently and are not controlled by CORTEX.
